Oct. 30th, 2010 @ 12:38 am Nocturnal Musing..
If given a chance to relive a year without any changes or modifications, I would choose 1981 as the year of choice. A lot of interesting things happened to me that year, culminating to that one day in late October when I raised my hand, said an oath, and joined the US Army Reserve at the age of 17.

We live in amazing times now, but that year was pretty special to me. Seeing photos from that period fill me with nostalgia and sadness, but I do cherish those memories so.

I pick the period between 28 August 1992 and 28 August 1993 to leave untouched. I learned a lot about love, life, and pain in the space of that year, and if I didn't have that year, I wouldn't have what I have now. I have good and bad memories of the year, but all of it is a huge piece of the person that I am now.

[Edit: Yeah, I had to edit this entry. 5K words in an evening makes one weird and tired and whatnot. XD~]

1992 was an interesting year for me - just out of high school, had a job, both my parents were alive and healthy, DATES! Yeah life was good then.

1980 for me, for 2 reasons.

Went to Australia for a month. Had to give up a decent paying part time job (I was in school at the time), but it was well worth it. I'd like to go back.

Also my political outlook changed forever because of one guy who took enough of an interest in me to convince me to take a long hard look at one RWR, and the things he believed in. I'm glad I listened.
